St Marys Northchurch

Proclaiming the Christian faith in Hertfordshire for over 1000 years

About Us

Welcome to St Mary’s Northchurch. All our services are open to everyone, whether you are a regular churchgoer or not and details are shown on our homepage. There are always plenty of people around to answer any questions that you may have.

St Mary’s has been at the heart of the Northchurch community for over 1,000 years. Various events take place in the church and the parish rooms throughout the year supporting a variety of good causes. We hold an annual village fete on the 1st Saturday of July where the proceeds are normally split between the church, a local charity and an international charity.

We have various groups associated with the church including Fellowship Groups, a Flower Guild, Bellringers and a Choir. Please click on the links on the right to find out more details.

Additionally St Mary's has strong links with St Mary's CE Primary School located adjacent to the church.

St Mary’s is linked with St Bartholomew's church in Wigginton to form a United Benefice and once a month we hold a combined evening service at one of the churches. Please refer to the Calendar to check when these are happening.

St Mary’s is in the Diocese of St Albans. They regularly produce SeeRound giving all the latest Diocesan news.
