In the Lake District we saw something very impressive. There was a large rectangular field with a herd of sheep at one end. The shepherd who was on a quad bike and his dog managed to get the sheep down to the other end of the field and through a gate in no more than twenty seconds. Charlotte will be coordinating a bring and share Harvest Celebration Tea which will be served at 5 pm on Sunday 6th October. Voluntary donations from this will go towards the Bishops appeal. After this the Russian choir will be performing for us in St Mary's Church from 6:30 pm. Entrance will be £10 at the door (to cover the expenses of the choir).
