We welcome you to join with us at our weekly services and to share in your special family occasions, whether this is for weddings, baptisms or funerals.

HOLY COMMUNION 

08:00 ON SUNDAYS 

A quiet start to Sunday using the Book of Common Prayer

 

PARISH EUCHARIST

10:00 ON SUNDAYS (EXCEPT THE 2ND OF THE MONTH)

This is our main Sunday service and is held each week except on the 2nd Sunday of the month. It is a Holy Communion service using Common Worship in clear modern English, with a range of hymns and a sermon. 

 

After the 10:00 service, tea, coffee and soft drinks are available in the Parish Rooms.

 

There is a creche for under 3s in the Lady Chapel. You are welcome to take babies and young children there from 09.50 and to collect them after the service. Participating parents share the rota of weekly adult helpers.

ALL AGE WORSHIP

10:00 EVERY SECOND SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

The second Sunday of the month at 10:00 is the All Age Service, led by clergy, youth and families worker, parents and children.

EVENING PRAYER OR TAIZE SERVICE

18:00 ON SUNDAYS

Taize Services are Evening Prayer is normally held on the 1st Sunday of each month.

WEDDINGS

Whether you are a regular churchgoer or not, getting married in church allows you to make solemn promises to the one you love, not only in front of your family and friends but also in the sight of God and with God’s blessing.

BAPTISMS

Baptism is the traditional Christian ceremony by which a person is made a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. It expresses in an outward and visible sign the reality of God's love for that person.

FUNERALS

Losing a loved one is always difficult. But alongside the pain of loss is the opportunity to remember – to reflect on our loved one’s life and everything they meant to us, in the way they would have wanted.
