Saturday 8 September 2018 - 10am to 6pm

Help us to raise money for the Historic Churches Trust at the 2018 Sponsored Bike 'n Hike and have a fun day out at the same time!

You can choose your own route and friends to go with. Just get friends and family to sponsor you, then go to as many churches as you can in the day either by foot, bike, or horseback.

Lots of churches are open for drinks and food, including New Milll at Tring and Putnam who always lay on a huge spread of sandwiches and cakes for lunch.

Sign in at each church you go to and have your form signed, enjoy your day and then collect up your sponsorship.

All money raised is shared between your chosen church (hopefully St Mary’s Northchurch!) and the Historic Churches Trust.

The trust offer grants to historic churches who have a need for building repairs but the congregation is too small to be able to raise enough funds themselves. Last year St Mary’s was one of the highest fund raising churches, raising £1,558, and since 2002 we have raised a stunning £22,647 to protect our heritage for future generations.

Please help us by joining in, or if you cannot come on the day, you can get involved by sponsoring someone else to go! Please click here to donate! If you would like to take part please pick up a sponsor form from Evelyn Hodgson in church.
