Window art!

Once upon a time people were charged a window tax: a fee to be paid dependant upon the amount of glass in their home. People boarded up their windows in order to save money, the cost of light being too much for many.

Today our windows are bright and uncovered, and could be even more beautiful. We could all make creative use of our windows. Over the past few weeks we have seen rainbows, can we do more?

As our homes become our safe places, we could create ’stained glass windows’ or picture windows which tell our good news story.
