We are raising money for some incredibly worthwhile charities so hope that you will bring your family and friends along to help us support GO MAD (Go Make A Difference), People Not Borders and our own Church Roof Fund. Today combines Trinity Sunday with Father’s Day and just in case the girls were unsure what to buy me, I ordered Bruce Springsteen’s new album as a gift. It is called Western Stars and contains a number of sweeping orchestral melodies that in Springsteen’s hands tell the story of characters who have known shattered dreams and failure, but also maintain some hope for the future. The Berkhamsted Deanery Barn Dance will be held on Saturday 22nd June at Northchurch Social Centre. The evening will kick off at 19:00 and will be led by a band and caller. Join us for our Pentecost All Age Worship service on Sunday 9th June at 10am. There will be some fun craft activities for children where they can make Pentecost hats and streamers and the service will be led by the St Mary’s Music Group. Everybody is welcome and we hope to see you there!
