We still have 300 Christmas cards depicting St Mary’s church in winter, taken from the model I made to raise funds for the replacement of the roof. I would like to sell them off at £5 for ten cards, which is cheaper than one would pay for commercially available cards of that quality and A5 size. Sadly, DENS cannot come together at a ‘live’ Sleepout event this November and they need your help to ensure the event can still go ahead, albeit in a different format. This year Remembrance Sunday is on November 8th. As a consequence of the pandemic and the ongoing restrictions we are not going to have a service in church at 10.00am. Instead we will meet outside by the War Memorial at 10.45am for a short service, the reading of names and the two minute silence.
